The Path to Membership… 

  • Attend three club events/meetings (within three months)
  • Attend one local service project (within three months)
  • Have a current member as your sponsor to guide you through the process
  • Complete the membership application
  • Meet with a board member to talk about membership and the requirements (not your sponsor)
  • Receive approval from the club board
  • Pay dues

The prospective member should be of good character with a record of leadership and service to the community. If the forgoing expectations seem reasonable and appropriate in terms of entry to this Club you will be able to claim the right to be called a Rotaractor and a member of the Rotaract Club of the Silicon Valley. Congratulations on possessing attributes, values and principles needed to be a Rotaractor. These traits set you apart from your peers in the community and you should be proud to possess the title of Member of Rotaract and lay claim to be a part of the Rotary Family. This distinction is not lightly handed out nor provided to individuals that do not exude exemplary attributes. We congratulate your choice to join this dynamic group and become part of the Rotaract family and even bigger Rotary International.
